This policy explains what Find Food! collects, why, and your choices. The data controller is IbiPoint Ltd. Contact us any time at [email protected].

What we collect

• Account details: your email address and display name. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a unique identifier and (where you allow it) your email and name.
• Your posts: the photos, restaurant and dish names, price, notes and ratings you submit, plus the location you attach to a post so it can appear on the map.
• Favorites you save.
• Push token: if you enable notifications, a device token so we can notify you about your posts.
• Basic technical data: app version, device type and log data needed to run and secure the service.

What we do NOT do

• We don't track your live location. Location is used only at the moment you post, to place that dish on the map.
• We don't show your position to other users.
• We don't sell your personal data, and we don't run third-party ad tracking. The only promotion in the app is our own (IbiPoint), shown without profiling you.

Why we use it (legal bases)

To provide the app and your account (performance of a contract); to keep the service safe and moderated (legitimate interests); to send you notifications you've enabled (consent); and to meet legal obligations. You can withdraw notification consent any time in your device settings.

Who we share it with

Only service providers that help us run Find Food!, under contract: our hosting provider; Apple and Google for sign-in and push delivery (APNs/FCM) and the Expo push service; and Google Maps for displaying the map. Your posts (photo, dish, place, ratings and the attached location) are public within the app by design.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and content until you delete them. When you delete your account, your account, posts, photos, favorites and ratings are removed immediately. Minimal logs may persist briefly for security and legal reasons.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to object to certain processing. You can delete everything in-app (Profile → Privacy → Delete account) or email [email protected]. If you're in the EEA/UK you may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

Find Food! is for people 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We'll update this page if our practices change and revise the date above.
